The AFT’s paraprofessionals and school-related personnel department invites you to send a small team to our first biennial PSRP Leadership Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 13-15. This conference will be held in lieu of our annual PSRP Professional Issues Conference. To mobilize members, solidify worksite structures and prepare for upcoming political battles, we are developing a program that focuses on building the momentum of our leaders and activists. This leadership conference will launch a yearlong effort, to be continued with virtual meetings every other month. We ask for all participating locals to commit to this yearlong process. The conference will empower teams of three people, to be made up of one local leader (board member or decision-maker) and two activists, including at least one up-and-coming activist. Locals must apply, and space is limited to 45 teams. To participate, please fill out the following questionnaire and submit it to PSRP@aft.org. If you have any questions, contact the PSRP department at PSRP@aft.org or 202-434-4696. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing a team from your local at the PSRP Leadership Conference!
