SURVEY: Cafeteria Unit - Assistant Cook Position

Dear Member of the Cafeteria Unit,

Assistant Cook Postion - Job Description

The District is telling the Union that these positions are only needed at the High Schools due to a change in the menus at those schools. We have talked to some of our members, and It 's our understanding that some Cafeteria Helpers may already be doing this additonal work at the Middle Schools and the Elementary Schools (without proper compensation).

The Union has scheduled a meeting with the District to negotiate over this new position, but we need your help. We have created an on-line survey for that purpose. We need for you to take a few minutes and answer these questions, so we will be able to make informed decisions when we sit down and bargain with the Distirct.
