PEA Teacher Toolbox Series: Starting Strong: Day 1 Strategies for a Great Year

This quick, 2-hour course will offer best practices and proven strategies to help start the year right, including:
  • Seating
  • Greeting
  • Ice Breakers
  • Building Relationships
  • Classroom Mangement
This course is designed to provide educators with the understanding of research-based strategies effective teachers implement on day 1 of the new school year. Participants will be able to take the strategies learned in this class and apply them to their own classrooms immediately.
 
Who would benefit from this class?  Newer teachers and paras, veterans wanting a refresher, those coming through alternative certifications, or anyone wishing to learn new beginning-of-the-year ideas. 
  • ALL PEA Professional Development is FREE for members
  • PEA Members are prioritized for registration
  • Coupon for non-members to take this course was handed out at TIPs over the summer
 
Upon completion of the course and enrollment in the NetConnect section, 4 In-service points are available.
