PEA is proud to announce another face-to-face offering of the Reading K-12 Subject Area Exam Prep Course! This course is designed to help prepare you for the Reading K-12 Subject Area Exam (passing the exam and adding it to your certificate will satisfy the Reading Endorsement requirement for instructing tier 3 readers as well as the criteria for entering the PCPS coaching pool). The Reading K-12 Subject Area Exam Prep Course is 12 hours total over 2 days. Participants who complete both classes must enroll in the NetConnect course and complete the reflection questions (these will be submitted through Schoology) at the end of the course to receive their 24 in-service points. All PEA-offered professional development is FREE to PEA members. If you are not a member and would like to take this course, please join your union by going to our website www.polkea.org You must attend both sessions of the class and complete reflection work to receive in-service points.
