Paperwork Survey Dec. 2020

The reduction of paperwork is an issue that needs to be reviewed yearly. Paperwork may include the completion of paper and/or computerized forms, inputting student progress information or observations, data collection, lesson plans, grading papers, input into focus, etc. It does not include state, federal, or district forms which are required. Please provide copies of paperwork not agreed to by staff or that is unnecessary or being duplicated.

Please respond to the following short survey and submit by December 18, 2020.

Check One
1. Is time for paperwork completion during the workday still an issue at your school?
2. Does your school have a process in place to reduce paperwork through the shared decision-making process as required by the Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement (Article IV. Section A. 7 a and b)?
3. Is that process being implemented yearly in order to review and eliminate unnecessary or duplicated paperwork?
4. Can the required paperwork be completed during the workday hours?
5. If you answered “NO” above, how much time is needed outside the workday to complete the work?
6. Do you feel that the required paperwork is necessary or helpful to you?
