Official membership is required to receive Union benefits, which include: American Federation of Teachers (AFT) discounts; stronger faculty power at the bargaining table; and a vote in your own job contract and for union representatives.

I hearby request and voluntarily authorize my employer to deduct from my earnings and pay over to PFF the regular monthly dues uniformly applicable to members of PFF. This authorization will remain in effect and shall be irrevocable unless I revoke it by sending written notice to PFF during the period not less than 30 days and not more than 45 days before 1) the annual anniversary date of this agreement or 2) the date of termination of the applicable contract between the employer and PFF, whichever occurs sooner. This authorization shall be automatically renewed as an irrevocable check- off from year to year unless I revoke it in writing during the window period, irrespective of my membership in PFF.

A PFF representative will come by to get your ink signature and bring you your membership benefits package. If you teach at the main San Marcos or Escondido campuses, let us know the best day(s) & time(s) to come by, along with the classroom or office.
