We, the undersigned Paraprofessionals of New Bedford Public Schools, are dedicated to providing the best possible instructional and learning experience for the students we serve. We are committed to ensuring the dignity and respect of all New Bedford Paraprofessionals. We stand by our negotiating team and proudly support them in bargaining a socially just and economically fair contract to advance the following concerns:
Posting of available positions with sufficient detail to promote mobility and enhance career opportunities for all Paraprofessionals within the New Bedford Public Schools.
Proper equipment, staffing, and training for all Paraprofessionals within the New Bedford Public Schools.
A Fair day's pay for a fair day's work: Compensation for the skills and experience we possess, and recognition of all the work Paraprofessionals do to educate the children of New Bedford.
