ATF GPS: Great Practical Strategies, Listening and Speaking Series

Listening and Speaking Series

A learning environment becomes richer and more meaningful for all students when speaking and listening skills are explicitly taught. If we want to empower all students to develop positive social relationships, take responsibility for their learning, and engage in the thinking process, we need to give them the tools to express themselves and gain ownership of the outcome.

In this three-part series, we will explore different types of discourse and how to deepen student comprehension.
