Platform Plank Submission Form

Use this form to draft and submit a proposed platform plank for GEO's 2010-2011 Bargaining Platform.

Here are some tips for formatting your proposal.

In the Purpose field you'll want to explain what you hope your plank will accomplish. Try to summarize both the problem and your approach to solving it. For example, you might write something like, "To mitigate the impact of the continuous enrollment policy by eliminating the ten term rule."

Use the Specific Proposals field to lay out the details of your proposed platform plank. For some proposals there might not be much to add to what you wrote under Purpose. For other planks, there may be a number of related policies that need to be changed to accomplish the purpose of the plank.

There is space provided for Additional Comments if you'd like to say more. We've also included a field allowing you to let us know who you are. Proposals submitted on behalf of GEO Committees or Caucuses should include the Committee or Caucus name in the Submitted By field.
