work on a legislative action committee in the spring
sign up for "UFF-Political Action Committee" ($1 for every paycheck)
work on setting up meetings and socials
be the Department Representative for my area
assist the grievance team
assist the bargaining team
work on communications (emails, website, facebook, etc.)
consider running for a UFF Senator or officer position in the spring

I have:

never been on an office visit to talk about UFF and prefer to be paired with a more experienced member
done some office visits, but prefer to be paired with a more experienced member
done some office visits, and don't mind being paired with someone newer
done several shifts to talk to colleagues about UFF and don't mind being paired with someone newer
