Letter of Support for RSG's Continuous Enrollment Resolutions
We the undersigned support the two resolutions passed by the Rackham Student Government (RSG) on July 23, 2009 regarding the Continuous Enrollment Policy proposal. The two resolutions are as follows:
Resolution SS-09-01
:
Resolution to Request that Rackham Specifically Address, in Writing, Outstanding Concerns Regarding the Enacted Continuous Enrollment Policy by July 31, 2009
Resolution SS-09-02
:
Resolution on Communication between Rackham and Graduate Students and Written Tuition Guarantees from Rackham both Regarding the Enacted Continuous Enrollment Policy
With these resolutions, we the undersigned hope to access detailed information on the Continuous Enrollment Policy proposal so that we can communicate our concerns to Rackham and the University of Michigan Regents. We believe the vague nature of the policy demonstrates a failure to account for the potentially detrimental effects on graduate students. We look forward to having numerous opportunities to communicate directly with Rackham and the University of Michigan Regents on the Continuous Enrollment issue.
